Man Witch is a homonym of Manwich, a brand of "Sloppy Joe" sauce introduced in 1969. If the Man Witches are under the control of Dagwood, this might be an allusion to the giant sandwiches created by the comic character Dagwood.

Man Witches and Sand Witches may both be part of the same non-capital Side -- Witches.
