| Parson and Maggie walk down a hallway together. There are lights on the wall, and at the foot of a set of stairs is a geometric symbol resembling a castle, a central square with three small squares around each corner. | [edit] |
|
Parson Gotti: Is there a twoll in the tower armory? Maggie: Yes, Lord. | [edit] |
| Under the glow of the wall light, Parson Gotti holds his Eyebook to his chest as he speaks. | [edit] |
|
Parson Gotti: Good, have him gather up any combat equipment I can use. Especially magical. | [edit] |
| At the bottom of the stairs, Parson Gotti turns back to respond to Maggie. | [edit] |
|
Maggie: Lord, I don't understand... Parson Gotti: D'you have to understand? It's an order! Remember those? | [edit] |
| Reaching out for the rail with her left hand, Maggie places two fingers to her temple. | [edit] |
| It's done. | [edit] |
| Grim-faced, Parson Gotti scales the stairs. | [edit] |
|
Parson Gotti: You put me in charge, Maggie. So I'm in charge. | [edit] |
| Stopping at a landing, Parson again turns to speak to Maggie. | [edit] |
|
Parson Gotti: And maybe you didn't know this...but I thought a lot about what would happen if I was again. And one thing I told myself was, "I'm not gonna send people into battles I wouldn't fight myself." | [edit] |
| With an expression of utter shock, Maggie follows after Parson | [edit] |
|
Parson Gotti: So I'm gonna fight in this one. Maggie: What! Lord, how?! It isn't our turn! | [edit] |
| The two continue their ascent, Maggie stretching one hand out to reason with Parson, who keeps his back to her. | [edit] |
|
Maggie: If it were, it's a half dozen turns away by dwagon. Parson Gotti: As Chief Warlord, I hereby promote myself to field unit. | [edit] |
| Parson stumbles forward on the stairs, catching himself with the rail and dropping his Eyebook to the ground and supporting himself on it. | [edit] |
| Parson Gotti: Whoa! | [edit] |
| Parson smiles as he rights himself. Behind him Maggie looks troubled. | [edit] |
|
Parson Gotti: Holy crap, the stairs got easier! This is nice! | [edit] |
| Parson looks back over his shoulder, eyes hooded. | [edit] |
|
Parson Gotti: And as far as how to get there, you know how. Order Sizemore back from the Magic Kingdom. | [edit] |
| Parson and Maggie walk down a red-carpeted hallway. | [edit] |
| Parson Gotti: We'll meet him in the Portal Room. | [edit] |
