Panel 1

Jillian hovers on her megalogwiff just off the balcony of the tower of Spacerock. King Slately and the female Caster in the white robe stand in front of her.[edit]

Queen Jillian Zamussels: We need to talk, King.

King Slately: Spare me, Barbarian.

I know a negotiation when I see one.
[edit]

Panel 2

Closeup on King Slately looking down, none too happy. Behind him the blonde Caster looks up into the air, her eyes hidden by the hood of her white cloak.[edit]
King Slately: I trust, at least, you secured a high price for my head? [edit]

Panel 3

A sort of fish-eye lens view of Jillian in the saddle on her megalogwiff - its tail and upper body curl away to both sides and back, giving it a shape much like that of a shrimp. Below is the city of Spacerock and beyond, the megalogwiffs lined up across from the dwagons.[edit]

Queen Jillian Zamussels: Never give me any credit, do you?

And you'll never change.
[edit]

Panel 4

Closeup on King Slately looking affronted.[edit]
No text in this panel. [edit]

Panel 5

Closeup on Jillian looking at King Slately through slitted eyes.[edit]

Queen Jillian Zamussels: Yeah, well.

Fortunately for you, she won't either.

Turnamancer!
[edit]

Panel 6

Eyes still covered by the white cloak's hood, the blonde Caster looks up.[edit]
No text in this panel. [edit]

Panel 7

Profile of Jillian in the saddle as she pulls her hat down. Her hair hides her eye.[edit]
Queen Jillian Zamussels: Let's do the time warp.[1] [edit]

Panel 8

Vanna the Turnamancer removes the white cloak, revealing underneath a form-fitting sleeveless dress of light and dark orange. Her eyes are dark brown orbs and she wears a collar.[edit]
No text in this panel. [edit]

Panel 9

Vanna waves an arm and a shimmering, sparkling shape appears, hovering in midair. It is composed of four rows of boxes: eight, ten, ten, and eight. The boxes are green and the whole collection has a teal border. In the center of the middle two rows are white boxes; six and four.[2]

Just underneath is suspended a word in yellow-white. "PLACE"

Visible below it in the distance are the legs and bodies of a guard and a tan-robed figure.
[edit]
Vanna: KingWorld![3] [edit]

Panel 10

King Slately looks on from the left as Vanna manually turns[4] the third white box on the third row to reveal an "O". The second white box of the second row is already an "O".[edit]

Parson Gotti: Um, what?

Stanley the Tool: Whaddya mean, Ansom's not with the fliers?
[edit]

Panel 11

Maggie, Stanley, and Parson stand behind the Gobwin Knob planning table. Maggie and Parson, on the left and right, are in profile, looking at each other. Maggie cranes her neck up to look at Parson while holding a hand out waist-high. Parson slouches while looking down at her, hands at his sides. In the middle, Stanley's body is turned to the table, but he turns his head to look at Maggie. His eyebrows are fixed in a scowl and his mouth is open wide as he shouts, jabbing a thumb into his chest.[edit]

Maggie: It seems he has remained with the ground troops at the bridge, Lord.

For some reason...

Parson Gotti: Why? They need his bonus.

Stanley the Tool: Call Ansom right now!

I wanna-

Uhf![5]
[edit]

Panel 12

Closeup on Stanley looking stunned, or maybe violated. Behind him Parson looks on, confused.[edit]

Parson Gotti: What's wrong?

Stanley the Tool: I-

Panel 13

Wide shot of the tower of Spacerock. The boxes, all turned, read

GOBWIN

and Vanna stands to the right of them, gesturing with both hands. Behind her cluster three soldiers trying to get a look. On the left, King Slately and a robed figure look on, and slightly off hovers Jillian on her megalogwiff.
[edit]
Stanley the Tool: Our... turn ended. [edit]

[edit] Notes

  1. ^  The Time Warp is the most well-known song from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It has been noted elsewhere the Jillian's and Wanda's outfits also reference the show.
  2. ^  This is a clear nod to the game show "Wheel of Fortune."
  3. ^  KingWorld is the television production and syndication company responsible for Wheel of Fortune.
  4. ^  "Wheel" has been co-hosted by Vanna White its entire run; until technology advanced beyond a certain point, she would turn the letters manually, much as Vanna does here.
  5. ^  Vanna is wearing the robe characteristic of White Mages in the Final Fantasy games. This is possibly an additional nod to Vanna White, in a triangular pun.
  6. ^  UHF stands for Ultra High Frequency, a set of electromatic waves used in television, which primarily beginning in the 70s and into the 80s allowed for more than three major networks (In the US) to broadcast and be commercially viable in the same location. It is also the name of a movie (and song) by "Weird Al" Yankovic.
