Panel 1

Closeup on the garrison and tower of Gobwin Knob. A quartet of dwagons circle the Tower of Efdup.[edit]
Stanley the Tool: Annnd one Jetstone Warlord goes away... [edit]

Panel 2

A single hand places a caped, sword-wielding figurine on a planning table in front of rows of other figurines. Among them are two hooded figures in front, several dwagons suspended on thin pillars, and a cluster of archons similarly aloft.[edit]
Stanley the Tool: Annnd one new Warlord for us comes out of the box. [edit]

Panel 3

A smiling Stanley the Tool looks down at the newly bolstered figurine army. Arms crossed, Parson Gotti looks on, slightly more dubiously.[edit]

Stanley the Tool: He's a good one too.

'Nother Prince!

Parson Gotti: That was definitely more direct, I'll give her that.
[edit]

Panel 4

Parson and Stanley look over the planning table, one hex filled to brimming with yellow markers, with a cluster of blue, pink, and green markers trailing away over a dozen hexes. Maggie stands nearby, fingers to temple, receiving a message.[edit]

Parson Gotti: How's Jack?

Maggie: Incapacitated.

One moment...
[edit]

Panel 5

Closeup on Parson, looking confused.[edit]

Parson Gotti: Still?

I thought they had a few Healomancy scrolls.
[edit]

Panel 6

Maggie, bearing her trademark straight face, responds.[edit]
Maggie: Mm. Given that certain scrolls are becoming harder to obtain, Lady Firebaugh is requesting permission to croak the Foolamancer and animate him as well. [edit]

Panel 7

Parson, arms crossed, looks incredulous.[edit]

Parson Gotti: Seriously?

God damn...
[edit]

Panel 8

Parson looks down at Maggie and Stanley. Maggie returns the gaze while Stanley looks at the table, ruminating.[edit]

Parson Gotti: Are we sure she didn't recover that Sword of Ruthlessness or something?

Maggie: Why would she need it, Lord?

Stanley the Tool: I'm thinking...

I might... tell her no.
[edit]

Panel 9

Stanley gazes at the hexes filled with yellow and magenta troops. Parson, arms still crossed look down at him quizzically, while Maggie has lost her famous composure and stares at him, wide-eyed.[edit]

Parson Gotti: ...

Really.
[edit]

Panel 10

Turning away from the table, Stanley looks up at Parson, who shrugs. Maggie stands nearby, hands clasped in front of her.[edit]

Stanley the Tool: She's been a little out of hand, lately. I think.

Don't you?

Parson Gotti: Well, yeah...
[edit]

Panel 11

Parson gestures with his right hand as he speaks.[edit]

Parson Gotti: And it's a bad idea, anyway.

Y'know?

Forget that it's cruel, heartless, and evil, there's still probably about twenty other reasons to say no to it.

A big one being, "we don't know if he'd still be able to cast or not."
[edit]

Panel 12

Stanley places his hands back on the table, focusing intently. Parson stands nearby.[edit]

Parson Gotti: She knows that.

Or she wouldn't be asking permission.

Stanley the Tool: Yeah.

I don't think I want a Caster that's...

...whatchacallit, Decrypted, anyway.
[edit]

Panel 13

Stanley turns to Maggie who listens intently. Parson turns away, calculating on his Mathamancy Bracer.[edit]

Stanley the Tool: Plus, I kinda like that guy.

Say "permission denied."

Parson Gotti: Good call, Tool.

M'gonna run new numbers before she bugs me again.
