What do you want to see in your wiki?

So, one reason I've heard for not contributing to the wiki is that it's a mess.
... which, I have to say, is a really circular argument, but whatever...

In an effort to make the wiki more appealing, WHAT CAN WE DO?
I've been working on adding citations and First Appearances to places and characters... we've started a couple of pages about mechanics and one-stop references (diminishing returns, animated units, which sides are royal or overlords...)

Are there any pages that would be particularly useful, or just that you'd like to see?

First/last appearances might be useful. I think it'd also be useful to include citations for key quotes/passages (e.g. Slately's listing of his sons).

I'm still working on it, but here's a Cast List with first appearances: Boom

If I can find the code to hide / expand lists, I might extend it to link to every appearance of a character, but until then...

At some point, I'll go back and add links to the character pages as well.

Okay, Cast List is done. Haven't added the character links yet and a couple of other tweaks, but now you can find the first appearance of every named character so far, and not-quite all of the non-humanoid units.

I'm tempted to start working on quotes relating to mechanics next (Jack's texts on Foolamancy, Stanley & Slately on Rulers, etc), unless there's something else people would like?

A quick check shows that there's a page for animals and a separate one for mounts, but not a comprehensive reference page. Additionally, it doesn't look like there's a place for units that serve a side and aren't mounts (i.e. pedobears, aquabats, &c)

Got a quotes page for Magic Mechanics started; only about half-way through First Intermission so far.

Any thoughts on the formatting or layout so far?

My concern with magic quotes is that I feel they are better suited to actually being on the relevant pages, rather than in a separate page.

Well, I could turn the quotes page into a directory; make a page for each of the Classes.

I'm reluctant to put the quotes directly on the associated pages, partially since I think it would bloat the pages, and partially because I think the pages should be more for analysis and summary. Sort of like how characters have first appearance listed, and not every time.

Just as a bit of a status update, I've pulled quotes about magic from The Battle For Gobwin Knob, First Intermission and Love Is A Battlefield. Only need to go through Inner Peace now, and it'll be up to date.
