Unfortunately it wasn't but somehow the results aren't affected much

Somehow M14 "Cook" in the NE hex managed to get "dig ore" and "create saw" orders even though he's only got a sickle ( his actual orders were Harvest mushroom x4). With those orders he apparently created a saw in the home hex and used wood in the home hex even though he's in the NE hex.
Luckily M18 "Smithy" duplicated those orders but was unable to carry them out, presumably because M14 had used the wood previously.
The main result is that there should be less ore in the home hex and more food in the NE hex

Ok - well I'll set aside some time tomorrow to fix things up and process the next turn - call it 10 hours from now.

The issue is spacing. If I knew the proper spacing that would make it a lot easier. All clumped together, by deciphering skills are stagnated.

Based on LTDave's hint, I think the runes are written backwards. "The" should be the most common word, and the ":\\//" pattern starts with "E".

Hmm.. initial analysis suggests that there a mention of butter bear in there...and the message might be backwards.
I'll know more when I've time to analyse it properly.

Hm... You know, now that things are getting more organized in the main hex, and what with the overpopulation (temporarily) relieved, I wonder if it'll be time for me to return to society soon. Would anyone be willing to make me a helm and/or metal shield?

M21 "Iolol" (not "lolol" ) - Finish Spear, Craft Leather Armor (2), Craft Box (or a wagon, or backpack, or whatever would let me carry large quantities of supplies between hexes).


Hm... Tigerus, don't bother harvesting that bush more than once (with M25) this turn; we've got plenty of food. Oh, and I give you permission to take M21's knife if you need it for crafting (as long as you take it after he finishes that spear). Oh, and feel free to use the pelt of this latest 'neck to make armor for M2 if you wish. (As our best fighter he deserves better equipment).

the last line is a little garbled, if someone can figure it out better. When I look at the runes, and assign that big word in the middle of the last line letters, reverse it and translate it I get "sear?teth"
