Rudy Eye (Bob the 6th): Archer{Lvl 1, 0xp}
[7 Combat / 3 Defense / 10 Hits / 8 {8} Move. Fire.]
Special: support x2, Dance fight.

now, with a stack of simaler archers they can do a crazy carebear stare... thinking T. Coil may get a laugh out of it.

Note that you can only purchase a number of Attack Modifiers (Support, Block, etc.) equal to your level, so you can't have Support x2 until 2nd level.

This looks fun and interesting. Making a simple Heavy to start, let's hope he lives to see Lv 2!
Ues the 7 Combat Stats to Increase Combat by 1, Defense by 2, and Hits by 12

Whump(CroverusRaven): Warrior{Lvl 1, 0xp}
[6 Combat / 7 Defense / 26 Hits / 8 {8} Move. Attack.]
Special: Heavy

Whump is a massive man covered in plates of metal. He hits things with his fists, which make a distinct Whump noise. He is named after the noise as he doesn't speak, instead he just hits things. So far hitting things once means yes, twice means no. Three times usually means to leave him alone.

WHoo -boy...5 new recruits (plus NPC's - is LTDave an NPC or not? :P ). Rolf's got his work cut out for him to try to make sure each has some sort of equipment to let them survive the encounter when we team up.

"See if you can't get Brick to let a few arrows slip through to Coil and I'll filch some of his potions while he's otherwise engaged" :lol:

Huh. I was just commenting on how Luckamancy, as it is currently implemented, kinda sucks but since I didn't have a luckamancer, I wasn't worried about fixing it for a while.

Since we've got so many mages, I normally let the dice determine whether to allow another one in, with a new caster being somewhat unlikely (especially if a duplicate is requested). I roll 3d6, and if you roll 8 or less, you get to play a caster.

You rolled an 8.

And then, I'll confess, I cheated. I REALLY didn't want to rework luckamancy so soon. So, I rolled again.

And you rolled another 8.

So, yeah, your remote luckamancy is already working. Let me know what you want to look like, and I'll start thinking about how I can make luckamancy suck less. :)

Heh, I'm not sure I'd trust a character who 'claimed' to be a luckamancer and had the bad luck to be captured by Marbits :P

He wears a yellow robe with blue trim. There is a hood that extends over his head making it impossible to see his face. The sleeves extend down past his hands. The robe drags on the floor.

Basically you can't see anything but a robe.

Meh, that sounds a lot like what Nemo looks like...

Maybe add some more distinguishing features? Dark spots on the robe, a skull-and-dice motif, or anything.

Hm... Actually I just had an idea.

Maybe we should leave the two groups permanently separated?

I mean, of course we're in the same world and some characters can move from one thread to another, but maybe we should try and leave the divide a bit more concrete? I'm worried about what would happen if we tried to sync one to the other perfectly... Imagining half of us mulling around waiting for the turn to end while the other half were stuck in a months-long battle. :\
