Correct, however I will let you wait until actually building said level of your first normal city before declaring that. Same goes for your capital, you decide with each level-up how it will be built. In the....eventual event you procure a second capital site, I'll decide then if I'll allow it to be built differently (though I'm leaning towards yes)

I noticed the second thread, did you already choose your players?

Fairly sure that's how it happened in the books anyway :p Better do well Boyce or I'll have to be angry that you got my spot. ;) It may even bring my otherwise unquestioning faith in the Titans into... Well, question.

Do you want us to post general questions here or in the index thread? For example, what does a throne room cost?

General questions go here, I'd like the Index to stay neat and tidy. I will post in the index thread however whenever there is an errata the results from PM interaction once the game begins.
Throne Room costs all 4 points.

Starting PMs will be going out as soon as I'm done wrestling with Hexographer and I get the map to actually look like a plausible world rather than the random blobs of grouped terrain it is now. Probably at the start of this coming week, as I'll be out of town tomorrow and again over the weekend.

Haha... Oh Hexographer, you know, I'm the one that introduced Kaed to it :P

Oh believe me, I found it on my own quite some time back...it's basically the only program that does the job even halfway decently (believe me, I've searched, LOTS)
And in general, I think it's great. It's clean and handy to use....it's just the map generation algorithms that leave a lot to be desired. I've read up on how they do it, and basically only about 35% of the map gets filled intelligently, the rest is just "Oh, make that the same as what's next to it"

Excellent!

Someone told me what to use to make a map for my game!

Have the tab open right now, was planning on doing the entire thing in MSPaint.

Well, you have to get the "pro" version if you want the map generator to be any good :P Of course, I'm far too cheap to pay for that.

Oh I didn't realize the generator was any different in the Pro version. Hmm

It doesn't say it is, but from what my friends tell me, it's more intelligent than in the free version, especially the browser-based one.

Are there NPC sides to interact with ? Or just the 3 PC sides?

That's for the Titans to know and you to (maybe) find out :p
There are definitely natural allies, although I think I may be executing them a little differently than Kaed has.

Well, there is a plethora of ways to elecute natural allies.

Push them off a tower, set them on fire, shove them through a portal, turn them into rations...

... That would make an interesting side special. Can claim any unit as rations.
UNLESS someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Led by Overlord Hannibal Lecter. That would be one evil side.
