Non-volative URLs

Postby Arkenputtyknife » Wed Jun 17, 2009 8:18 pm

Running into a problem, trying to link to the update pages.

The most recent update is At the time of writing, that's update 5. The second most recent (update 4) is http:.../page/2. And so on.

Which means that a link to one of those pages (from the forum or anywhere else) will, in a couple of days when the next update appears, go to the wrong page.

Is there a non-volatile way of linking to these pages? If not, could we have one? Pretty please?

The wiki-page versions of each update have fixed URLs; that'll give you a workaround for the problem.
Is this a real holy war, or just a bunch of deluded boopholes croaking each other?

The easiest way of linking to any direct update at is to actually click on the title of the update. That will bring you to the permalink version of the post.
