Rob has made a compelling cliffhanger out of an accessory. We're doomed.

"There is a chance!" shouted Ace, pounding his fist into his palm. "And it's at least worth considering, Pierce!" He turned to Slately, "Highness, this is what I'm thinking. We work on our own target of choice."
"Yeah, he wants to hit your son first," interrupted Pierce, "But I'm saying, even supposing that works, we're still outnumbered up there. We just don't have the flyers for a fight like that."

"He wants to hit your son first." What does this mean? And I'm not totally sure what this means either: "We work on our own target of choice."

Atomic wrote:Aaah. The tension is definitely killing me, but it was totally worth waiting up for. To be honest, Piece is starting to get on my nerves. I hope if/when he's Decrypted it'll knock some of the annoying out of him.
On the flip side, Slately might just give Ace the attention he's been craving. Parson might not get his shiny new caster after all!
The casters had just identified Slately as Gobwin Knob's number one target... so Ace was suggesting they choose a target of their own: Ossomer. Piece is using "hit your son" as a not-so-crude way of saying they're planning to kill Slately's (former) son.

I would looove the text updates included in the book - or at least some of them, so as not to disrupt the flow of the comic too much (text/comic/text/comic might make for a weird book) So. much. flavour. It's worth showing off in the book.

This and this.
I was just thinking, there is so much awesome being poured into these updates, it'd be a shame if they weren't included in the book.
