Erfworld Movie Cast

So I was bored and decided to make a picture of actors that, in my opinion, would be a good choice to play different Erfworld characters if a live-action movie was ever made. Keep in mind that they could all use a costume change. If you would switch out any of these actors with a different one, feel free to share your ideas.

Left to Right:
Vinny - Freddy Prinze, Jr.
Ansom - David Boreanaz
Jillian - Scarlett Johansson
Wanda - Zhang Ziyi
Jack - Johnny Depp
Stanley - Martin Klebba
Parson - Patton Oswalt
Maggie - Glenn Close
Sizemore - John Carroll Lynch
Bored? Read The Adventured of Melissa Ray. An Erfworld fanfic. comment here

Or A Tale From Traz. (Now complete!). comment here.

interesting topic. For some reason I always imagined jillian as a miniature charlize theron.

That picture you found of glenn close does look a lot like how they've drawn maggie lol, maybe with a few less wrinkles.

Wallace Shawn would have been a great choice for Stanley if he were younger. Heck, he's a good enough actor that he could still probably do it.
They could not possibly win. Every man knew this with certainty, and lo it was glorious.

I second Robert Picardo. Best thing ever from Voyager.

I approve of everything with Scarlett Johansson in it. 8-)

And Johnny Depp would make a great Jack!

Might choose an other vinny, but who... Who?!

How about Michael Imperioli. Can pick up sopranos actors and other mafia movie people for transylvito.

You know I was just reading the "parson is a hippiemancer" thread and kept reading where people call Janis the "grand abbot" where in the comic it really says "grand abbie". I somehow doubt balder is a fan of dharma and greg, but I loved it. Now if you don't know that was a show about dharma, a yoga teacher whose parents were hippies and greg, a lawyer whose parents were uptight rich people. Dharma and greg were married and of course all kinds of funny stuff goes on. Dharma's mom, the most hippy person in the show was named abby, and for that reason I've always imagined Janis as being like Abby. (and after they first introduced her I kept thinking her name was abby lol).

Decided to add that to this thread. If I chose someone to play janis, I'd want Abby! (whose real name is mimi kennedy)

I'm voting for this one too. Robert Picardo could totally do Sizemore.

I agree, he's a freaking brilliant actor, one of the few highlights of Voyager.

Now than, whileScarlett Johansson is hot, she's not that good an actor, and I on't feel she could portray Jillian well at all, and it would be a huge cut into the quality of the movie.
I think therefore I am. This leaves you in a bad spot.

Army inteligence is sadly an oximoron these days. And no General, I did not just call you a cow.

I cut myself shaving with Occam's razor.

Jillian should be played by a gymnast. Unless they can find a very good stunt double. Jillian's piece of steel is heavier than she is. Assuming, of course, the density of steel is similar to earth. Newton's laws probably do not have any relevance in hollywood but Jillian should look like she was swinging around the handle. A lot of modified moves from uneven bars and high beam would be useful. Many of recent action or martial arts movies have actors wearing a harness which is suspended by cable. For Jillian you would connect her harness and the sword to cables. It might help to attached to two cables to opposite ends of a flexible bar like the poles used for vault. The bar would prevent tangling/hanging and would allow the actress 360X180 rotation so that it looks like she is building momentum and catapulting the tip of the blade.
