Going "home"

The Arkenshoes aren't the first magic we've encountered in erfworld that sends a person "home." The carnymancy scroll that Parson has purposes to do the same thing. The fact that Charlie is loosely connected to both the 'shoes and the scroll leads me to suspect that the scroll might have the same effect on Parson as the shoes had on Judy. Perhaps Charlie hopes to return Parson back to Stupidworld, but will be foiled when the spell actually returns him to Gobwin Knob. Or...somewhere else? Charlie told Judy that the shoes send you "where you belong," which may not necessarily be where Parson THINKS he belongs.
